MidOpt Filter Kits

Our line of Filter Kits is designed to assist electronic imaging specialists, machine vision integrators and end users in evaluating and improving image quality.

Each kit provides a selection of filters useful in observing the effects of different colors, wavelengths, light intensity and polarization on images obtained with various types of commonly used industrial cameras and lighting.

The options provided by each kit allow you to select a filter or filter combination that might best solve your application problems.

• Double-pocketed transparent vinyl pages, each holding one filter, corresponding transmission curve and table of data points describing each filter's effects

FK100-xx – The all-purpose Machine Vision Filter Kit with our 10 most popular and useful filters:
– Filters include: BP324, BP470, BP525, BP550, BP590, BP635, BP660, BP850, PR032, LA120, plus a 115mm (~4.5") square of polarizing sheet material.

NK100-xx – Neutral Density Filter Kit provides options for controlling light intensity.
– Filters include: ND030, ND060, ND090, ND120, ND200, ND300, ND400.

IK100-xx – Infrared Filter Kit was developed for near-infrared imaging applications.
– Filters include: BP800, BP850, LP695, LP780, LP920, LP1000.

UK100-xx – Ultraviolet Filter Kit for testing UV and fluorescence imaging.
– Filters include: BP324, BP365, BP470, BP525, BP590, LP415.

BK100-xx – Bandpass Filter Kit provides additional bandpass filtering options.
– Filters include: BP365, BP470, BP525, BP590, BP635, BP660, BP695, BP735, BP800, BP880.

Ordering Filter Kits:

Kits are ordered by creating a part number that specifies what type of kit is desired, coupled with the size of filters required.

Ex: FK100-43 is the number for a Machine Vision Filter Kit for use with lenses having M43 filter threads.

All XX100-27 kits include step-up and step-down rings for lenses with M25.5, M27 and M30.5 filter threads. This covers about 90% of all machine vision lenses in use today and makes these size kits our most popular and versatile.

All MidOpt filter kits (and all our filters) are available in sizes from M22.5 through M105.
