BP660
Dark Red Bandpass Filter
Recommended for use with dark red LEDs
We recommended the BP660 for use with 650-680nm LED and laser diode lighting. Because of its ample bandwidth and excellent in-band transmission, it works very well for all camera-related applications in this range. We currently provide more BP660 single substrate, hard-coated filters than any other filter in our line.
Color longpass filters, sometimes referred to as "sharp cut" filters, are often suggested by others for creating increased contrast and resolution. They will block UV and shorter visible wavelengths but still pass all longer wavelengths. Except in those few cases where an IR-blocking or other shortpass filter is incorporated into the camera or sensor, MidOpt will for the most part recommend the use of one of our broad color bandpass filters (such as the BP660) over these "sharp cut" longpass filters alone. The results are consistently improved contrast in most inspection applications over the long term.

Standard Threaded Mounts:
We offer standard filter sizes from stock – 22.5mm to 62mm – for same- or next-day shipping. Larger filters – 67mm to 105mm – are made to order and are normally not returnable.

Slip Mounts:
If your lens does not have threads for mounting a filter, Slip Mount adapters are available. Slip Mounts can attach a regular filter to a lens or attach a very large filter to accommodate a wide angle lens. Please call to order Slip Mount adapters.
