BP365
Blacklite/UV 'A' Bandpass Filter
Blocks visible light while passing UV
The BP365 UV Blacklite filter is particularly well suited for use with 365nm LEDs or UV fluorescent black lights.
Centered at 365nm, the single substrate, hard-coated MidOpt BP365 features higher transmission than might normally be expected in this range. Generally, UV bandpass filters tend to have somewhat lower peak transmission, are more expensive and may have some amount of visible light "leaking" through them. This is not the case with the BP365. Although a small amount of deep-blue/near-UV light does leak through, it is usually considered insignificant.
Blocks the metal halide source
Often this filter may be more appropriate for filtering a UV light source itself, such as metal halide lighting, in which case a custom filter may be requested, either mounted or unmounted. In these cases, sizes ranging from a few millimeters to over 600mm in diameter can be produced in a matter of days. Please contact us for a quotation if you have such a custom requirement.

Slip Mounts:
If your lens does not have threads for mounting a filter, Slip Mount adapters are available. Slip Mounts can attach a regular filter to a lens or attach a very large filter to accommodate a wide angle lens. Please call to order Slip Mount adapters.
