Filter Mounts

Mount your own filters or use these rings as filter spacers where a front lens element protrudes beyond the lens body.

Two standard mount types are available: (1) threaded, black anodized aluminum rings and (2) rotating mounts with locking thumbscrews. Both come with matching threaded retainers.

This threaded mount screws into any C- or CS-mount camera so the filter is positioned directly in front of the sensor. Wrenching slots aid in threading the filter into the camera body. A lens spanner wrench, pointed object or the upper anvils of a pair of vernier calipers can be used as wrenching tools. After installing the filter, the lens is then threaded into the camera and the filter sits immediately behind the lens.
