Lens Extension Rings

Reduce the working distance from C- or CS-mount lenses to the subject with a 6-ring set of MidOpt lens extenders. By adding one or more rings between lens and camera, magnification is increased for close-up applications where the camera cannot be moved physically closer to the subject.

Using extenders is like changing to a macro lens but without the cost of the new lens. The image quality of your system remains the same because extenders do not optically change the lens; the tubes are hollow and merely make your lens appear longer.

The MidOpt 25.4 Extension Ring Set includes 0.5, 1, 5, 10, 20 and 40mm extenders. The 5mm ring also allows C-mount lenses to attach to CS-mount cameras. Individual rings are available separately.

These rings, effectively hollow tubes of various lengths, are not to be confused with Lens Extenders which install between the main lens and camera body, multiply the focal length of the lens and decrease the effective aperture.
